At the 2025 Primary Championships, she won 7 Years Old Girls 100m (14.38), 200m (29.47). She broke the 100m record in the prelims (14.28), the 200m Record in prelims (29.21) and won the 400m (1:07.72) in meet record time. As a 6 Years Old Girl, she won 55m (8.70) and 100m (15.37) in 2024. Both were Meet records in the final and she broke the records in the prelims of the 55m, 100m and 200m last year on Sunday.

Club of the Year 

Zone A Club of the Year is Southern Sprinters Elite.  They are being recognized for their support of athletes beyond the competition setting. They intentionally create opportunities for their athletes to give back to their community and grow as individuals. This year the athletes volunteered with Upward Thrive Academy to collect food for children experiencing food insecurities during the school year.

Zone B Club of the Year is 813 Elite Track & Field. As a club they focus on a total body approach as it relates to their training by providing physical and mental health therapy conducted by nurses that are on the 813 Elite coaching staff. In addition, they also provide nutritional resources and assistance for athletes at every practice.

Zone C Club of the Year is Genesee Swift Track Club. As a club they are very involved in their community. They began a club in Flint Michigan specifically to meet the needs of kids in an area that was becoming hopeless. Because of this club the Flint area has restored the possibilities to not only give the community hope but has restored the mindset that going to the next level in life is achievable.

Zone D Club of the Year is Jacobs Pro Speed Track Club. As a club they focus on mental wellness check in which includes team discussions and 1 on 1 check-in to monitor emotional stress and mental fatigue.

Coach of the Year

Zone A Coach of the Year is Pamela Muhammad of Charles County Elite. Pamela has helped hundreds of athletes get high school prep and college scholarships. She offers tutoring and other academic support to help her athletes increase their knowledge base and overall GPA. She holds meetings with parents to walk them through the recruitment process staring in Middle School to include the NCAA eligibility Center registration, SAT/ACG testing and college drafting. She also tracks her athletes through their college application process to acceptance.

Zone B Coach of the Year is Sherita Jackson of Bethel's University Saints. Sherita has implemented procedures to encourage peer leadership and peer to peer safety measures both at meets and at practice.

Zone C Coach of the Year is Ashieka Daniels of Victory Runners Club. Ashieka founded this club based on the foundational belief that every child, regardless of their circumstances, should have the opportunity to uncover their strengths, enhance self confidence and achieve their potential.

Zone D Coach of the Year is Wayne Jacobs of Jacobs Pro Speed Track Club. Wayne focuses on Mobility and prehab sessions with his athletes to prevent common injuries and strains. Through the use of data-driven performance monitoring he is able to track fatigue levels, hydration and recovery status.

National Coach of the Year

Pamela Muhammad - Charles County Elite. Presenting the Official of the Year is AAU Track and Field Officials Coordinator and Executive Committee Member Yolanda Freeman.

Official Of The Year 

Dave Dunbar is the Official of the Year. Dave has been involved with the AAU JO Games and other National Meets in several capacities for years. His last assignments has been as the Head meet referee for the AAU indoor nationals in Virginia Beach and the field event referee for JO Games. Dave Dunbar is one of the hardest working officials around the country. This is a bittersweet moment for the AAU as this will be Dave’s last JO Games where he has served the AAU proudly and passionately. We wish you the best in your retirement.
