The Amateur Athletic Union is searching for America's Top Amateur Athlete. If you know of a Collegiate or Olympic Athlete that demonstrates the qualities of leadership, character, sportsmanship, and the ideals of amateurism – we want you to nominate him or her today. Nominate on the AAU Sullivan Website or on The Real AAU Facebook.


In its 84th year of honoring the Top Amateur Athlete in America, the AAU Sullivan Committee is proud of the history of the award and what it stands for; the AAU Sullivan Award goes far beyond athletic accomplishments and honors those who have shown strong moral character. Past recipients include Mark Spitz, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Peyton Manning, Tim Tebow, Shawn Johnson and Missy Franklin; for a complete list of recipients – Click Here.

AAU WRESTLING

Attention AAU Wrestlers! The 2014 AAU Winter Youth Nationals are taking place this weekend in Omaha, NE!

Weigh-ins will be on January 10th from 4:00pm – 8:00pm and competition will begin at 9am on Saturday, January 11th.

JAM ON IT HOSTS FIRST MARTIN LUTHER KING TOURNAMENT


Jam On It will be hosting a three day MLK Day celebration tournament in Rancho Cordova, California! The MLK Dream Big Festival will feature more than 60 teams, with ages ranging from 3rd-8th grade, including Division I and II. Teams, mostly from California, Oregon and Nevada, will travel to play in the Rancho Cordova Events Center, a brand new 8 court facility on January 18th and 19th.

Register soon! The deadline is January 11 with an entry fee of $200. The fee includes a three game guarantee with certified high school officials and college regulation size wood floors. If you're from out of town, certain hotels in the area are offering a discounted rate. If you stay in one of these designated hotels, your team will receive a $50 discount on the entry fee!
