At the St. Thomas Summer Academy powered by Dailey Training International, boys and girls ages 12-18 can develop their skills and knowledge with former NBA, WNBA, and FIBA players and coaches. Apartment style housing and meals are provided, as well as strength and conditioning, yoga and nutrition, basketball skills, life skills, ESL, and more! Various 7-day academies are offered between June 1st and August 3rd at St. Thomas University in Miami, FL. The fee is $1900 per week including ESL or $1750 per week without ESL, but there are only 50 spots available, so reserve yours today!
International, will take place August 10-20th at the UNLV Cox Pavilion. Professional men and women national teams, club, and individuals have a chance to learn from the NBA, WNBA, and FIBA. This is the largest, national multi-sport event for youth in the United States. Join 22 sports and over 15,000 participants. Bring your speed, strength, and balance to compete against the best. Championship level in conjunction with an AAU Football League. By starting an AAU Football Cheer program, you will not only grow the sport in your area, but your cheer teams will be eligible to compete at the AAU Football Cheer National Championship in Orlando, FL!
opportunity to compete for the AAU Triple Crown award! This award will be given to participants who finish in first place in all three styles of wrestling: Freestyle, Folkstyle, and Greco-Roman.
Invitational Track meet at Leonard George Stadium at Spring High School on May 31st. The meet will be open to athletes 18 and under. Entry fees are $6 per athlete with 5 uniformed coaches free and $6 per spectator with 5 and under (non-competing) for free. Medals will be given to first place winners and ribbons will be awarded to second through sixth place.
The AAU Junior Olympic Games Golf Championships will take place in Southern California later this summer. The event will run July 19th through the 25th and will stretch across two golf venues, Tustin Ranch Golf Club in Tustin and Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena. Competition is open to girls' and boys' ages 6 through 18. Entry fee for ages 6-8 playing 9 holes per day is $295 and $395 for ages 9-18 playing 18 holes per day. Deadline to register is June 30, 2014.
