AAU GYMNASTICS REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS WRAP-UP

The AAU Gymnastics Regional Championships have now concluded for the 2016-2017 Season.

With much success, these premier AAU Gymnastics events exemplifies the quality and standards set in place to resemble the Age Group National Championship.

Over 2,200 athletes participated in this season's series of AAU Gymnastics Regional Championships, that were held respectively in Connecticut (Northern), Illinois (Midwest), Nevada (Western) and North Carolina (Southern).

We look forward to the continued success for the AAU Gymnastics Regional Championships and hope to see all of our athletes at this year's AAU Gymnastics Age Group National Championship in Kingsport, TN!

Information regarding the 2017-2018 Regional Championships will be announced soon!

AAU CARES AND FEEDING CHILDREN EVERYWHERE

FEEDING CHILDREN EVERYWHERE will return this year to

put together meals for 80,000 hungry kids around the globe. This will take place at the Orange County Convention Center on Friday, June 16 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm. Take a look at your wave times and sign up before or after your competition!

AAU CARES AND THE SIDEOUT FOUNDATION

New this year AAU will be working with the Side-out Foundation to raise money for breast cancer research. Wear your pink in support on the following days: June 17, June 21, and June 25. Teams raising at least $25 dollars will be entered into a raffle for a free entry to Girls' Nationals in 2018!

2017 TYPHOON LAGOON WATER PARK PARTIES

BRANDON MILLER POSTS FRESHMEN NATIONAL CLASS RECORD IN 800 AT MISSOURI CHAMPIONSHIPS

Brandon Miller had set over a handful of records at the AAU level entering his first year of high school at St. Louis John Burroughs (MO) High in 2017.

So it was only a matter of time before the freshman mid-distance wonder was at it for his high school track and field team.

Over the weekend, the 14-year-old not only claimed his first state title at the Missouri Track and Field Championships in Jefferson City, but he also secured a freshmen class record in the 800m with his time of 1:50.84 in the Class 3A race.

Miller broke the previous national freshmen record of 1:51.03 held by Michael Granville of Bell Gardens, California, back in 1993. Granville eventually went on to set the national record of 1:46.45 in 1996.
